New Chief Election Commissioner



  • Centre has named Election Commissioner Achal Kumar Joti as the next Chief Election Commissioner of India

  • He will be the 21st Chief Election Commissioner of India

  • He is an IAS officer from Gujarat cadre and has served as the Chief Secretary of Gujarat during Narendra Nodi's tenure as Chief Minister
