He, the comparatively power less early man wants to fight with the cruel wild animals, with forest fire and with many mysteries in the forest. So he, the early man worshipped the rain, the fire & all his enemies to escape from them.

Yes, the very first security measure resorted to by man to save his life was prayer. This later led him to many superstitions. However as centuries passed, thanks to scientific inventions, the helpless man started applying the scientific measures to save his life and his properties.

Now our world has totally changed. We are living in 21^st century, the century of the computer & information technology. In this period, our enemies are not wild animals, but our specie it self. Now also, even in this computer age we can’t tell we are completely secure.
